The pendant is a mixed-metal design, usually made of 925 sterling silver with a 9k gold inner core or accents. It features two distinct Hebrew inscriptions from the Bible:
Outer Silver Ring: It is engraved with a verse from Proverbs 31:29: "רבות בנות עשו חיל ואת עלית על כלנה" (Rabot banot asu chayil, ve'at alit al kulana). This translates to: "Many women have done worthily, but you surpass them all".
Inner Surface: The central part of the pendant is often engraved with the opening phrase of the same prayer: "אשת חיל מי ימצא" (Eshet chayil mi yimtza), which means "A woman of valor, who can find?".
