Handmade Rosewood Jewelry Box

One of a kind, rosewood jewelry box handmade by Lorelei and Alex Gruss at Studio Gruss in Brooklyn. Creativity meets craftsmanship. For over 30 years Studio Gruss has been doing work for the finest synogogues and institutions. 

The upper inlay scenes baking bread, going to ritual bath, lighting Sabbath candles are made with many different types of material, including woods shells and silver with abalone skies. The box is made of Cocobolo rosewood with ebony side panels and layered with sterling silver Hebrew letters. Heavy silver drawer handles are handmade and designed especially for this box.
