Anne Frank "Pluck Roses" Candle
"Pluck roses on Earth and forget me not..."
Anne Frank wrote this popular rhyme in her friend, Henny de Bie-Scheerder’s birthday autograph book of poems. It was March 4, 1940, before Nazis had invaded the Netherlands where she lived. But in retrospect, it is filled with irony and meaning.
Taken from the Museum of Tolerance artifact "Posie Album" on display in the Museum.
Anne Frank's timeless quotes have inspired this beautiful hand-poured candle collection made exclusively for the MOT Shop by Voyage et Cie, Los Angeles.
Quote calligraphy by Lisa Holtzman.
