Our Mission

The renowned educational arm of the Simon Wiesenthal Center is the Museum of Tolerance, located in Los Angeles, California. The Museum challenges visitors to confront bigotry, anti-Semitism, and hate, and to understand the Holocaust in both historic and contemporary contexts. Since the Museum opened in 1993, it has hosted over 7.5 million visitors with more than 3.5 million students and 200,000 adults who have participated in the Museum experience and its programs including the growing fleet of Mobile Museums of Tolerance.
